How to Make a Brown Scapular

1. Begin with the following supplies:

  • Two (2) brown squares of cloth approximately 1 × 1.5 inches (2.5 × 4.0 cm) in size

    • Wool is ideal, but any fabric will do

  • One (1) piece of string or ribbon approximately 42 inches (106 cm) long

2 . Thread a needle with the string (ribbon)

3. Make a stitch with a needle on each square

4. Knot the ends of the string (ribbon)

5. Place another knot near the other brown square
